Strawberry Cough is a sativa-dominant hybrid believed to be a cross of a Haze strain with a Strawberry Fields landrace. It is best known for its sweet strawberry aroma and its reputation for inducing uplifting, energizing effects. Buds are typically light green with orange pistils, coated in a frosty layer of trichomes.
Terpene Profile:
This strain is rich in myrcene, pinene, and caryophyllene, giving it a signature sweet strawberry aroma with subtle notes of earth, spice, and haze-like musk. On the palate, users can expect a smooth but slightly sharp smoke—sweet berries on the inhale, with a spicy, herbal exhale that sometimes causes the signature “cough” it’s named after.
Effects:
Strawberry Cough provides a cerebral, uplifting high, often sparking creativity, focus, and social energy. It delivers a euphoric and happy mood boost without overwhelming sedation, making it an excellent choice for daytime use or for tackling projects that require motivation and positivity.
Medical Uses:
This strain is often selected to help manage stress, depression, fatigue, and anxiety, thanks to its uplifting and clear-headed effects. It may also provide mild relief for headaches and minor pain, and its mood-enhancing qualities make it useful for patients dealing with mood disorders or social discomfort.
