Badder | Sour Diesel | Live Resin

Sour Diesel, often called Sour D, is a legendary sativa-dominant hybrid believed to descend from Chemdawg × Super Skunk, with possible Northern Lights influence depending on the phenotype. Originating in the early 1990s, it became one of the most iconic strains in cannabis history due to its unmistakable fuel aroma and fast-acting cerebral effects.

Terpene Profile:

The dominant terpenes in Sour Diesel are caryophyllene, limonene, and myrcene, with supporting levels of terpinolene and pinene. This terpene profile creates a pungent aroma of diesel fuel, lemon citrus, and earthy spice, layered with herbal pine and skunky undertones. The flavor is sharp and bold—gassy and citrus-forward on the inhale, finishing with a peppery, fuel-heavy exhale.

Effects:

Sour Diesel delivers a fast-hitting, energizing cerebral high that boosts mood, creativity, focus, and motivation. Users often describe an uplifting, dreamy mental state paired with light body relaxation that remains functional and active rather than sedative, making it ideal for daytime use.

Medical Uses:

This strain is often selected for relief from stress, depression, fatigue, anxiety, and ADHD/ADD symptoms. Its uplifting mental effects may help improve motivation and focus, while its mild body relaxation can assist with headaches, tension, and chronic pain without heavy sedation.
